I'm young but I am planning to earn money for a Lamborghini Gallardo. It is my dream car that I am willing to try my best to get. I am researching all I can before I am older and it might be to late and if I will be able to afford it. My new question to people is this question here, how do I order it? To Canada?|||You do it buy going to a dealership and setting everything up

How would i get started on building a Lamborghini Murcielago Kit Car?
I need to know where to buy the parts from and some instructions on how to paint it. And would $6,000 be enough money for a good start on this project.|||My guess is that you want to build this kit car yourself. There are many things to consider before doing so.
I can give you 3 simple steps off the top of my head. This is the cheapest way to build one.
1. You will need a rolling frame to start off. I suggest you use a wrecked Toyota MR2 with no frame damage- $1500
2. Give the donor engine a tune up $400
3. Buy a Murcielago body kit for the MR2- about $4000
I dont want to put you down man, but building something like this will cost you about $20,000
In order to get a mint paintjob you will need to sand the panels and prime them. Quality car paint (regardless color) will cost you about $250 per gallon!
-- $4000 could start you off fine if you're an experienced mechanic. But if you new to this, please don't do it yourself. You will regret it, its a lot of work.
-BMW engineering student|||HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Sorry, but no, $6k would not be anywhere near enough, so stop daydreaming, come back to planet earth, and add at least two 0's on the end before you start thinking about a Lamborghini, because a "kit car" is just going to be a crapped out Ford chassis and drivetrain with a poor quality bodyshell wedged on.|||Ha Ha Ha You funny. Try $50,000.00. If you started with $6,000.00 you would never finish Just the brakes on this car cost $5,000.00.|||6 grand lol eehm you could maybe one of the wheels for that money! not really kit cars my friend! try again!

A Bodykit that makes it look like a Lambo or Porsche?
There is no such thing.
Something like that would have to be custom made by some company.|||try here http://lamborghinikitcar.com/

Where is the transmission located on a Lamborghini Diablo?
I've asked this question of mechanics and gotten three different replies. So; what is the layout of the engine, transmission and final drive on this car?|||Let a big girl answer this one. Little boys don't have access to these cars.
The engine in the Diablo is mounted backwards behind the driver in unit with the transmission and the final drive (differential). The transmission runs forward under the centre console and the gearshift lever is attached directly to it. The final drive from the transmission goes back through the engine sump to the rear diff - and a set off transfer gears sends power to the front wheels via a carbon fibre drive shaft.
Lamborghini is the only car company to use this configuration at this time. My old boyfriend used to drive a Diablo. These cars suck out loud.

What's the difference between the Lamborghini Murcielago and Gallardo?
besides price...
Is the Murcielago longer?|||Yes, the Murcielago is about a foot longer. It is also an inch shorter (height) and 6 inches wider. The main visible difference on the outside is of course that the Murcielago has scissor doors and the Gallardo doesn't.
From the front you will also notice that the Gallardo has longer and slimmer headlights, while the Murci's are more squashed.

Gallardo: http://lambocars.com/hr/gal/gall13.jpg
From the rear, the Gallardo has one exhaust pipe on each side, while the Murci has one or two in the center. The Gallardo also has square shaped taillights while the Murci's are more trapezoidal. The Gallardo's taillights sort of continue onto the top of the car.

I could go into a lot more differences but those are the easiest ways to tell them apart visually. But some of the basics are that the Murcielago has a 12 cylinder engine while the Gallardo has 10, which gives the Murci better performance. The Gallardo weighs a lot less though.|||It's All in the Numbers:
The stats for the Murcielago, big brother of the Gallardo and heir of the Diablo, are impressive: 6.5-liter, 48-valve aluminum V12 generating 640 hp. The six-speed transmission is available as a traditional manual or as an automated manual, and the car is all-wheel drive for traction and control. All of this adds up to a top speed of 211 mph, and a 0-62 time of 3.4 seconds, slightly up from its original 2001 incarnation.
Totally Different from the Gallardo:
Okay, not really. It takes a trained eye to be able to spot the differences between a Gallardo and a Murcielago passing you on the highway. They both have angular, sloped noses and lower-than-low stances. The easiest way to tell them apart is near the back wheels, where the air intakes are. On the Murcielago, the openings are small and low, while on the Gallardo, they're vertical and long. The bottom sill of the side windows on the Gallardo are curved, while the Murcielago's windows lead straight back to a pair of cowls.|||The Gallardo is known as the Baby Lambo.
It is the smalest Lamboghini ever made.
V10 engine. Around 500-510HP.
0-60mph in 4 seconds.
AWD
Top Speed is 195mph.
Cheaper.
Competes with Ferrari F430 and Porsche 911 Turbo.
The Murcielago is the larger, longer, more powerful supercar. It was RWD at first, but now they offer AWD.
V12 engine. Over 600HP.
0-60mph in under 4 seconds.
Top Speed of 211-212mph.
A lot more expensive.
Competes with Ferrari Enzo and Porsche Carrera GT.|||Well Gallardo means "Baby Bull"
And Mucielago means "Bat" (for some reason)
Part from the general body design and shape the most oblivious differences, the baby bull has a V10 and the bat has a V12.
Gallardo - $125 000 +/-
Murcielago - $250 000 +/-|||muchelago is faster than the gallardo

What is the most expensive car of lamborghini?
If you can name the full model I will be glad. For example not just saying murcielago, but more details. What kind of a murcielago or diablo or smth else?|||the most valuable are the Miura P400SV/J. theyre worth a ton.
the most expensive to purchase now are the murcielago LP640s. If the barchetta is available now, its slightly more expensive.|||Well, In the newer models, the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 roadster is the most expensive, im guessing somewhere in the 400-500k range. It is has a V12, 640 hp engine ( hence the name), 0-60 in 3.4 sec and a top speed of 205 mph. But as another Yahoo user was stating, the Miura P400SV/J was sold in 1997 to Nicholas Cage for $490 000. It is a collector edition of the Miura and is VERY limited.
