How does the Automatic transmission on a Lamborghini work?

I have seen the pictures with only 3 buttons where the gear stick should be is there even a real atomatic Lamborghini or is paddle shift their idea of auto?|||Lamborghini's transmissions are not automatics. They are manual transmissions that are robitically shifted by computers and a series of hydraulically actuated servos. The owner can select a program that will do the shifting for him if he desires it.

These transmission have a clutch also - just no clutch pedal. Clutch actuation is also computer controlled. What you get for your extra $6000.00 is a standard 6-speed transmission whose shift points can be measures in milliseconds instead of hundredths of a second.|||They have paddle shifters. The three buttons you see are, I believe, drive, revers and N (I can't spell it!).

Here are some pictures that you can look at. The first picture under the wheel on the left you can kind of see the paddle shifters.

You can also see them on this car too.

If you click on the picture it will get bigger and easier to see.|||i don't think they would put a fully automatic transmission in a lambo, its probably a paddle shift.
